"Raise your head", Barcelona, Spain, 2011

if you feel sad, depressed and you found yourself walking alone in the street while you are looking down without any hope or passion to do something, look carefully, maybe you will see this sentence in the floor to remember you to upraise your head to see what is shining in horizon of the future while you are in the present walking to it ...

I put this words in the street in a specific location where the people can stop a second to pass to the other direction , this is  the deep meaning for people to understand it from the sentence , it is your responsibility , it is your choice to have the decision about your future and what you are looking for ...

I wrote this sentence in many way and in different countries while I was travelling around the world. In Arabic it means something for Arab people where they can understand it directly ,but in Europe or everywhere they will have different feeling when they have seen a sentence in foreign language , someone will know this is Arabic and someone not ...

For example, during my stay in Barcelona, a Canadian friend saw the sentence, he copied and he came to ask me what it means, because he saw in many places in the city, especially that he knew this sentence has been written in Arabic, which is my language.

'Upraise your head" is part of continuous project where I use to leave this sentence in different countries, so maybe you will cross near by to remember you to look always to the future when you act to upraise your head
